VICI Jour offers a range of polymeric tubing ideal for low- to mid-pressure applications and high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). These products are biocompatible and offer reliable performance properties.
- ETFEĀ ā Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) tubing is particularly suitable for HPLC. It offers a higher burst pressure than PTFE. 1/16ā OD x 0.25 mm ID tubing withstands up to 186 bar (2,700 psi) with water as the mobile phase.
- FEPĀ ā Fluorinated ethylene (FEP) is chemically inert toĀ most HPLC solvents, and is especially recommended for ion chromatography applications.
- PFAĀ āĀ Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) tubing has excellent chemical stability and mechanical strength. Use it in place of PTFE tubing if gas permeability is an issue.
- PPĀ āĀ Polypropylene (PP) tubing is particularly suitable for liquid handling in biomedical applications that use aqueous solutions.
- PTFEĀ āĀ Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)Ā is chemically inert and suitable for lower pressure applications. Available in natural and color-coded versions.
- Impermeable tubingĀ āĀ FEP coated withĀ polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)Ā combines the chemical resistance of FEP with the tight, impermeable structure of PVDF, ensuring that degassed solvents are preserved.
- Thermo-formed tubingĀ āĀ VICI Jour tubing can beĀ thermo-formed into a variety of geometric shapes to meet your specifications.
